To optimise workflow when using laser    engraving with plates it is best to engrave plates when mounted on the printing sleeve thus eliminating plate mounting and maintaining excellent registration

   
           
     

Laser engraving workflow involves fewer stages reducing the possibility for error. Photopolymer washing stages can often involve harmful solvents to workers and the environment, laser engraving eliminates this. Today there are more materials available for the laser engraving process offering higher quality for all ink types common in flexography. With the introduction of ALE Hybrid Flexo systems we take advantage of the many black materials commercially available for laser engraving.
