The demand for seamless micro structures on cylinders for
the embossing BEF & LEF films has led ALE bespoke systems to
develop software and optical systems suitable some of these type
applications. Regular geometries of 60, 30,45 and 90 degree
patterns are achieved via hitting each cell or lens with
multiple hits from the selected laser source, (source selected
for material to be processed), until the desired profile and
depth is reached.
For random structures ALE has developed a bespoke software
for seamless random cell generation where cell diameter range
can be selected at will. Cells have their profile controlled via
a greyscale image calibration procedure. |
