ALE Custom Cell Design package allows the user to define novel cell shapes and configurations via a graphic pixel grid. Once the cell has been designed the macro view option will display how the cells will nest together with the selected drop values for each cell unit repeat.

Cell shape adjustments can be made by defining specific power levels to designated pixels to compensate for material flow during engraving.

Custom Cell  Design can  be used to create patterns for imaging masks, lacquers or acid resists on rollers and cylinders that require an etching process. With the ability to create complex spiral repeat patterns for a single feature, custom cell is a useful tool for embossing roller production for the paper & tissue industries.

    The Custom Cell package has provided solutions for customer's who seek specific microstructure 3D or 2D designs for laser micromachining material surfaces for products to be used in other industries and applications. With the versatility this package offers it often forms part of an ALE bespoke system design.
